Rock Foundation Recording Artist, Lindsey Phillips, is a singer / songwriter with a distinguishing style of rhythmic guitar playing and vocal ability. Lindsey’s one of a kind style provides a unique blend of music that must not only be heard but experienced to be fully appreciated. Voted 2001 vocalist of the year by Embassy Music in Nashville and KCCM’s 2003 and 2004 “Acoustic Rock artist of the year”, Lindsey’s voice is refreshing moving in and out of well-crafted lyrics and melodies that are as enticing as they are intense.

Throughout his early years Lindsey Phillips used his God given talent to search and eventually find his unique and gifted style. His vocal talent began at the very young age of two years old and he began performing for audiences at age five in upwards of 500 people. Lindsey wrote his first song at age eleven and by 12 years of age had won 2nd place in a Virginia State level contest. At that time Lindsey began evangelizing with his grandfather throughout the Appalachian Mountains and at 14 was writing music for church choirs. Lindsey started and played in a number of bands in the years ahead while searching for “his sound”. Lindsey has written and arranged a sundry of songs for various solo artists and numerous bands. Lindsey is multifaceted in his studio work playing guitar and recording vocals on an assortment of projects. And in November of 2003, Lindsey signed a recording deal with Rock Foundation Records.

Lindsey is currently touring his debut CD, “This Journey”, for Rock Foundation Records. Although released only a few months ago, it is gaining air play on numerous radio stations where Lindsey tours. Lindsey is building quite a grassroots fan base by pounding the pavement and performing for various venues like College Church of The Nazerene, Clear Creek Bible College, LMU, Cederville University, Jazz & Blues Fest., AFWC Youth Conference, Kansas State Fair, Rock The Light, The Realm, and even taking it to the Federal Prisons.

You know this is really just a brag sheet. The most important thing is who Lindsey is. Lindsey is a man who loves God, loves his family, and loves to share it with anyone who will listen. And he does it through music. The truth is, the music rocks and the message is relevant and honest. And that’s why his fans love him....
